On January 23, 2025, the first pilot seminar of the E-volunteering program took place at the MoveIt offices in Thessaloniki. The seminar focused on preparing new volunteers for the digital world of volunteering, equipping them with the necessary skills to effectively utilize modern digital tools.
Through the specialized Volunt@@ring curriculum for digital volunteers, participants were trained in the fundamental skills and techniques required to engage in online volunteering. The goal of the seminar was to strengthen their ability to contribute meaningfully to social initiatives by leveraging technology for social change.
E-volunteering represents an innovative approach to strengthening volunteerism, emphasizing the digital dimension of giving and creating added value for communities and organizations.
