On 29 October 2025, CONNECT International and its partners successfully organised the online conference “POLICY POWER-UP: E-Volunteering in Action – Building Europe’s E-Volunteering Ecosystem”, bringing together policymakers, youth organisations, researchers and digital innovators to explore the future of e-volunteering across Europe. Among the organisations present was MoveIt, which actively took part in the discussions.
The event opened with a video keynote address by MEP Irena Joveva, who highlighted the importance of e-volunteering.
Participants engaged in meaningful dialogue on how digital volunteering can support young people facing barriers, how policies can be translated into practical frameworks, and how e-volunteering fosters inclusion and cross-border engagement.
By attending, participants joined a cross-sector community committed to making digital volunteering accessible, meaningful and impactful — helping to shape the next steps for e-volunteering in Europe.
