MoveIt participated in the “Thermi’s Youth Forum 2025,” organized by the Youth Council of the Municipality of Thermi on March 8-9, with the main theme being the empowerment of women in decision-making processes.
As part of the forum, interactive workshops, discussion panels, and open debates took place with the participation of youth from Youth Councils across Greece. The topics discussed focused on gender equality in political and social life, as well as the need to increase women’s presence in positions of responsibility.
MoveIt shared its experience in the field of youth work, the role of civil society organizations, and the importance of cross-sector collaboration in empowering women, as well as the potential for incorporating a gender perspective into local policies.
Our participation in the forum was an important opportunity for exchanging views and best practices, contributing to the promotion of equality and the active participation of young people in shaping political and social developments.
The event was supported by the Municipality of Thermi, the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation, PERROTIS College, and Actionaid, as part of the “Cities4Her” program.
