Official Launch of the CTRL-MEDIA Project

The CTRL-MEDIA project officially marked its commencement with its Kick-off Meeting on 16 February 2026. Bringing together a diverse consortium of partners from Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, and Greece, the meeting signaled the start of a collaborative effort to enhance media literacy and promote active civic engagement across all generations.

During the session, representatives from YouNet Reggio Emilia, ENID, SPARK, Casoris, and MoveIt engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding the project’s vision, implementation strategies, and operational guidelines. The partners focused on aligning their efforts to establish a solid foundation for the project’s upcoming milestones.

Key highlights of the meeting included:

  • A detailed project overview and presentation of core objectives.

  • The establishment of a clear timeline and coordination of implementation strategies.

  • Definition of collaborative goals and quality assurance guidelines.

The CTRL-MEDIA project aims to empower citizens by providing the tools necessary to navigate the modern media landscape critically and responsibly. By fostering media literacy, the consortium seeks to strengthen democratic participation and social cohesion within the European Union.
