In the framework of Move It’s ongoing commitment to social contribution, solidarity, and the defense of human rights, our team participated in the Lost Dolls Festival in Thessaloniki, transforming the WE multi-purpose space into a field of collective memory and active resistance against gender-based violence. This initiative, which took place on March 29, 2026, aimed to highlight art as a means of social intervention and provide practical support to survivors.
This year’s action mobilized a broad network of artists and organizations, including live music performances, thematic photography exhibitions by professional and amateur creators capturing the reality of abuse, as well as experiential drama therapy and graffiti workshops for all ages. At the same time, the presence of specialized information spots offered immediate information on free support networks, while we had the opportunity to highlight the core purpose of our DESERve project for the prevention and combat of all forms of violence and bullying through the cultivation of emotional skills and non-formal learning. This collective effort is further proof that synergy and empathy can lead to measurable social change, turning responsibility into action and silence into a loud reminder that creating safe havens for the evolution of the younger generation concerns us all.
