We are happy to announce the publication of a new policy paper developed within the Re(In)novating Digital Youth Work (Re(In)novate) project, coordinated by CONNECT International.
The document brings together evidence from research, youth worker practice and structured stakeholder dialogue, including the “Amplify, don’t quantify” symposium, to build a case for digital youth work as a distinct, rights-based and professional field.
It follows a bottom-up logic, moving from the ground up to global policy:
- Local and regional recommendations on access, safety, co-creation and capacity-building
- European Union recommendations on recognition, quality standards, monitoring and infrastructure
- Council of Europe and European Youth Work Agenda recommendations on professional recognition and ethical frameworks
- United Nations recommendations positioning digital youth work within global youth, human rights and digital inclusion agendas
The recommendations are meant to be practical and adaptable, useful for youth work practitioners, local and regional authorities and policymakers at every level.
