MoveIt, in collaboration with Mandoulides Schools, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the support of the European Parliament Liaison Office in Greece and the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, successfully organized the European Parliament Plenary Simulation on January 16-17, 2025.
Approximately 250 students from 26 high schools across Greece and the Greek diaspora had the opportunity to participate in this event, which aimed to simulate the processes of the European Parliament. This experience allowed participants to gain a deeper understanding of democratic procedures, enhance their critical thinking, and acquire significant knowledge about European politics.
We were delighted to witness the creativity and enthusiasm of the students, who represented regions from all over Greece and the Greek diaspora. Their commitment to the processes and their ability to collaborate highlight the importance of such educational initiatives, which foster a culture of dialogue and cooperation.
This year’s event marked another significant milestone in strengthening young people’s connection with the values and principles of European governance, reaffirming our commitment to providing opportunities for learning and growth through active participation.
